Pros on strike. Everyday guys get to play.
Keanu sure does do a lot of football quarterback characters (Point Break, Brotherhood of Justice) for someone who likes hockey! Just to add to the famously bad "quarterback punk" names, Keanu plays a character named Shane "Footsteps" Falco. I've seen the crazy sideways running he does in the commercials (of which I've seen many!) -- is that why he has that nickname? Anyway, this movie appears to have many of the same feelings as Point Break (dedication to his job) and Chain Reaction (the hairdo).
Listening at the website I believe there may be a character (a cheerleader prehaps) named Heather. I'm especially excited about that.

Keanu Quotes:
"I should say something classy and inspirational but that just wouldn't be our style."
"We're in a huddle! I'm the quarterback! No one talks in the huddle except me! If you have something to say you raise your hand." ["What if we're injured or feeling sick or something?" -Fumiko] "Then you tell me before the huddle."
"Pain heals, chicks dig scars and glory lasts forever."
"Danny! Remember what I told you about red shirts during practice?" ["Yeah...?" Jon Favreau as Daniel Bateman] "Well forget about that."
Others:
"Keep putting on that yam." [Brooke Langton as Annabelle]

-Keanu looks amazing (as usual) and the role really suits him well.
-The underwater football scene.
-The Welsh guy! ("He's whier'd"), the gangster guy, the ex-cop who acts like a giant killing machine and all the other crazy characters..
-The way the good guys kick ass though they start out being really pathetic.
-It's a Keanu movie with a character named Heather. =)
